WONDERCAPTURE FOUNDER,
KEATS MILES-WALLACE

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

If you've found your way here, you're probably the kind of person who can't let a thing go until you understand what makes it alive.

Me neither.

My name is Keats Miles-Wallace. I'm a pastor, a writer, a media maker, and the founder of Wondercapture. I live in South Texas with my wife, Jessica, our son, Kaelan, a dog named Molly, and two cats who have very strong opinions about everything.

I've spent most of my adult life at the intersection of theology and public life -- on college campuses, in denominational work, in advocacy, in liturgy. What I kept finding, in every room I walked into, was that the people doing the most important work were also the people most at risk of losing access to the thing that started them. The Wonder. The original astonishment. The reason they showed up in the first place.

Wondercapture exists because I believe that's a problem worth solving.

I started Over the Moon after watching the Artemis II astronauts describe what they saw from space. Smart people saying beautiful things about what they'd devoted their lives to -- and still finding it full of wonder. I wanted more of that. I wanted to make a place where that was the whole point.

That impuse grew into something bigger than a podcast. Wonderfairs. Wonderschool. Essays. Gatherings. A community of people who never stopped being curious about the thing they love most.

I'm Coahuiltecan on my mother's side, a child of South Texas in the deepest sense. I carry that inheritance into everything I make -- attention to land, to ancestry, to what gets passed down and what gets lost.

I'm glad you're here. Pull up a chair.
